About the Friends Membership Program
The Friends Membership Program allows anyone to participate in supporting the Highwood Library & Community Center (HLCC), and our diverse community. The membership program provides crucial ongoing financial support to the library which goes toward programs and services benefiting the Highwood community and all library patrons. These important services include but are not limited to:
Youth Coding Program
Kids Story Time
Improved Technology for Learning
Early childhood education
All memberships are annual donations that demonstrate pride and support of the HLCC and our community. In addition to a member's financial support, the Friends organization welcomes a donation of a member's time and/or skills to benefit the library and its community services. We happily welcome contributions of any size. Our membership levels are as follows:
For a dollar a day, you can become a member of our Club 365. This is our highest level of annual membership which is critical for the library and community center to offer the necessary programs and services to support our patrons. Club 365 members will be recognized both on the library's website and acknowledged in our communication to community members. Click here to become a member!
A donation of any size matters and will positively impact the visitors of the HLCC and our community. We gladly welcome a one-time donation from anyone who does not desire membership status. One-time donations will be used toward the same Programs and Services listed above. One-time donations of $250 or more will receive an IRS tax notification email.
